Scrapnik island's mecha sonic is such a great concept, a self aware forgotten machine that with a P.T.S.D triggering scenario, went from a peaceful robot that has abandoned violence, to a full on f*cking killing machine. (btw sigma giving tails a pat is adorable)

This game is like a satire of Mario, but at the same time, it intensifies and expands upon the standard "mario platformer" mechanics, making them more challenging...it's so inane and surreal but at the same time it rewards logical thinking and quick reflexes, and the secrets are so intricate and well hidden...I'll be playing this game when I'm in a nursing home until my thumbs fall off.

I dreaded playing through this zone because I'd always time out when reaching the unique barrel area, due to trying to use the same jumping mechanics done earlier in the zone as you suggested.

Im 25 and playing through Sonic 3 and Knuckles for the first time and timed out twice on the barrel before giving it up and having to Google it. I feel so glad I wasn't alone lol

So Hydrocity is one word made from a compound of two words "Water and Speed" the two things that make up the Zone itself. Ans = It's "Hydrocity" one word as Sega intended.

I find the lack of customization to be quite refreshing. Generally, it means that I have to play in a way I don’t want to. Sekiro, however, instead forces me to change my mindset. It’s quite refreshing.

i understand that this video likely means that there wont be any more specialized retrospectives on fleetway sonic, but id love to see more videos done on it. after all, having shrter "bite sized" (relatively speaking, ofc) episodes would definately be helpful so you dont have to watch a 3 hour long retrospective for bits and pieces of info on specific topics, and it could allow you to dive deeper on certain ideas you had to skim over, like running over certain secondary arks, like descibing the full list of captain plunders adventures (including my personal favorite character, simpson the cat), or covering one of knuckles long arks, or going into detail over the complete eternity ring ark, and could allow you to talk about reoccurring characters like windy wallace, or going deeper into grimers full story, and maybe talking about minor characters that are just too interesting to ignore, like several one off goons related to robotnik and the cillains that filled in the power vacume created by issue 100. and honestly, id love to see you cover the complete stories of the other sega games, like the mad world of decapattack, or the strangely insane worlds of ecco the dolphin and shining force, and even the intersting stories of shinobi and kid chameleon. anyways, sorry for the massive comment, just a big fan of stc and would love to see more videos about it from you!

Computer Warrior, for those who don't know, was a series in Eagle, that was about a boy by the name of Bobby Patterson, who gained the ability to enter video games, at the cost dying in the game would come with the consequence of being trapped in the nightmare zone. He needed to complete 10 games this way to save his friend Martin the nightmare zone. Of course, that's just the initial storyline and they didn't stop there. The strip ran so long that games that Bobby was entering early on included Wizard of Wor for the Atari 2600, but the last game visited in the series was Street Fighter 2. In between many other games came and went, including the NES Ghostbusters, Bionic Commando, Ghouls n Ghosts on the Mega Drive, Thunderblade, Impossible Mission II, ESWAT, U.N. Squadron, and many, many others.
